The Daniel Footwear Design a Shoe competition shortlist has been announced!
Due to such a fantastic response from the Autumn/Winter 2012 Design a Shoe competition, the team at Daniel Footwear decided to run it again for the Spring/Summer Daniel collection 2013.
The initiative was launched to encourage young, up-and-coming designers to invent and draw a shoe that would fit appropriately into Daniel collection. Children aged between 6 and 16, from schools around the UK were asked to use their imaginative flair and create a shoe that would complement the Daniel brand. The entrants were split into two age categories and both were judged accordingly.
An overall winner from the 12-16 age group will have their design mocked up and turned into a shoe that can be sold in Daniel stores and online.
An overall winner selected from the 6-11 age group will receive an adventure day out of their choice plus materials to help them with future design work.
