It’s June which means one thing, festival season is upon us. Unfortunately though for us women, prepping for a festival takes some serious effort. There are so many things we need to consider when planning an outfit. Will it rain, if so we need a waterproof that matches our outfit? Then there’s the outfit itself, what sort of look should you go for? Boho? Rock chick? Or techno raver? In my experience I would avoid the latter, UV paint is not a good look for anyone unless you’re partying hard at a Full Moon Party on the white sands of Thailand. Celebrity’s make it look so easy when they’re frolicking around Coachella in their bohemian sundresses and feather headdresses. Unfortunately here in the UK we’re not blessed with the blistering heat of the Colorado dessert, we’re much more likely to be trudging round a field in wellies and a rain coat. But whoever said wellies and raincoats weren’t stylish was very misinformed. We’ve gathered together some of our favourite festival looks that are UK weather proof!
First up we have the boho look which is seriously hot this season thanks to the 70’s revival trend. When it comes to looking cool at a festival this is a great look to go for, think fringing, paisley prints, feathers and suede, flares and flowing dresses. There are so many ways to make this look work, you’re sure to find something you love!
If you consider yourself more of a rock chick than a hippie then it’s time to get out your leather jacket. Paired with a pair of ripped jeans, a plain tee and some shades you’ll ooze laid back cool! Plus the great thing about an outfit like this is your Hunters will perfectly finish of the look.
Whether you’re heading to Glastonbury, V Fest, T in the Park or Bestival do it in style with the help of our inspirational festival looks!
