MIISTA was founded in 2010 by Laura Villasenin in London's East End. The footwear brand is renowned for its unique blend of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary designs. Drawing inspiration from her Galician roots in Northern Spain, Villasenin sought to create a brand of handmade women's shoes that challenge conventional fashion norms. Our MIISTA collection features boots, sandals, heels and shoes characterised by their innovative design and high-quality material. MIISTA has always been committed to instilling high-quality shoemaking and sustainability into their production. All MIISTA shoes are designed in London but handcrafted in their factory in Galicia, so they can achieve a modern aesthetic in their designs, making their commitment to traditional shoemaking and controlling their sustainable practices better.
